The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) recently unveiled the Career and Education Explorer aimed at assisting students and job-seekers.
The Career and Education Explorer is designed to provide information to students and job-seekers about:
- specific occupational fields
- average wages/salaries of specific careers
- current and future state demand for specific careers and top industries
- the type of educational requirements associated with a specific career.
Users can also search for career and educational opportunities in specific regions of the state, as well as view current job openings in specific fields.
DEED has gathered this information from a variety of sources, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Census, and Minnesota Labor Market Information.
Job-seekers, students, and employers will all benefit immensely from having access to this data in one handy, easy-to-use place.
