GSDC PRESIDENT GARTLAND TO RETIRE MAY 31
Patti Gartland, who began as the GSDC’s president on June 1, 2013, will retire on May 31 of this year. She informed the GSDC Board of her intentions in 2022 so they could begin identifying a successor, but held off on the formal announcement until today.
“There is no more enthusiastic or effective advocate for the Greater St. Cloud region than Patti Gartland,” said GSDC Board Chair Joan Schatz. “Leading a talented staff and coordinating the participation of many GSDC investor organizations, Patti has had a tremendous impact on the St. Cloud region’s economic development and overall community vitality.”
The GSDC has hired Minneapolis-based CohenTaylor Executive Search Services to identify qualified candidates and help the Board choose a new President. If you or someone you know is interested in being considered, please contact CohenTaylor.

PSSST! DON’T FORGET WHAT TODAY IS…
WalletHub seems to have a stat or survey for everything, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. They say that in 2023, those celebrating the holiday will spend an average of $192.80. WalletHub adds that 50% of people would break up with their significant other if he or she spent irresponsibly on that day. Good luck, lovebirds!
