LARRY HOSCH

Larry Hosch joined GSDC in early 2017 after 20 years of contributing to the Greater St. Cloud region in local, regional and state government, local non-profits and private business. Prior to GSDC he managed the redesign and alignment of programs for the Minnesota Department of Human Services for four years . Larry is a member of the Minnesota Workforce Development Board, including its Executive Committee, equity task force and career pathways partnership initiative. Larry also serves on the Economic Development Authority for the City of St. Joseph. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and master’s degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
Larry was elected mayor of St. Joseph in 2000 at the age of 22. After serving two terms as mayor, he was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives where he served four terms representing the Central Minnesota communities of Cold Spring, St. Joseph, Avon, Paynesville, Richmond and Kimball. In 2005 Larry founded and led Lamar Homes and Remodeling, LLC, a small business focused on real estate revitalization and exterior residential work.
